Scaup

A 2 1/2 hr seawatch today produced 8 Scaup, an Eider, 67 Common Scoter, 3 Velvet Scoter, 2 Red-breasted Mergansers, 4 Red-throated Divers, 4 Fulmars, 16 Gannets, a Shag, 3 Great Crested Grebes, 2 Poms and an Arctic Skua, 5 Razorbills, 16 Kittiwakes and 66 Little Gulls. Also of interest were a Greenshank, 2 Bearded Tits and a female Blackcap on the reserve.

Three Migrant Hawkers and 15 Common Darters were flying in the autumn sunshine.
