Oak Rustic

Many thrushes were still moving with 70 Blackbirds, 20 Fieldfares, a Ring Ouzel and 50 Redwings counted, 18 Bramblings and 4 Redpolls seen, and a Woodcock dropping into the pines mid afternoon. Ten Cattle Egrets were on the grazing marshes and a Greenshank was present. Two Ravens also flew over, with a Yellow-browed Warbler heard near the Observatory during the morning.

In the moth traps 19 Rusty-dot Pearls, a Large Wainscot, Spruce Carpet and an Oak Rustic were caught.
