Highlights today were 514 Common Scoter, 3 Red-throated and one Black-throated Divers, 23 Gannets, a Great Crested Grebe, 2 Arctic Skuas, single Sandwich and Common Terns, 15 Little Gulls, a Peregrine, a Bearded Tit, Chiffchaff, 2 Blackcaps, a Ring Ouzel south of the Broadwater, 2 Stonechats, single Rock and Water Pipits were ringed during the morning, and 10 Bramblings, a Redpoll, 20+ Siskins, 2 Ravens and 12 Cattle Egrets were also of interest.

In the moth traps today a total of 17 Rusty-dot Pearls were caught together with 5 Large Wainscots, 2 Red-green Carpets and a Large Yellow Underwing. A Red Admiral and a Peacock were also recorded.
