On the sea today 3 Eider, 5 Common Scoter, 2 Red-throated Divers, a Great Crested Grebe, single Razorbill and Guillemot were seen. A Pale-bellied Brent Goose was seen passing the NWT, and 12+ Cattle Egrets were still among the cattle on the grazing marsh. Two Swallows flew west past NWT hide 1, and 4 Bearded Tits flew over the east bank at the Observatory calling. A pair of Stonechat were there during the afternoon, and 15 Siskins and a Rock Pipit were also of interest.

In the moth traps today there were a Green Brindled Crescent, 4 Rusty-dot Pearls, 9 Large Wainscots and an Olive-tree Pearl.

In the sunshine a few Migrant Hawkers, Common Darters and 2 Willow Emerald Damselflies were still on the wing. Small White and Red Admiral were also present.
