On the sea today an Eider, 20 Common Scoter, a Red-breasted Merganser, single Red-throated Diver, Gannet, 3 Great Crested Grebes, 26 Little Gulls and a Med Gull were observed. Also of interest were 2 Peregrines, a Yellow-legged Gull and at least 10 Cattle Egrets in with the cows on the fresh marsh.

In the moth traps today, 2 Rusty Dot Pearls, 19 Large Wainscots, a Beaded Chestnut, a Lunar Underwing, a Satellite, 2 Large Yellow Underwings, a Grey Shoulder-knot and 2 Chestnuts.
