Appalling weather conditions continued throughout the day but Blackbirds and Redwings had been brought down by the storm and a female Merlin gave superb views opposite the Observatory building mid morning.

In the moth traps a Red-green Carpet, Lunar Underwing, Setaceous Hebrew Character, 2 Large Yellow Underwings, 8 Large Wainscots, and a Brick were caught.
