Norfolk Ornithologists Association - NOA

On the sea today 10 Eider, 1000+ Common Scoter, 2 Goldeneye, 5 Red-breasted Mergansers, 5 Red-throated Divers, 3 Fulmas, 26 Gannets, 15 Great Crested Grebes, 3 Poms, an Arctic and a Great Skua, 9 Razorbills, a Guillemot, a Little Gull and 2 Sandwich Terns were noted. Also of interest today were a Greenshank, Barn Owl, Kingfisher, 8 Bearded Tits, 3 Chiffchaffs, 2 Blackcaps., 28 Fieldfares, 15 Redwings, 8 Stonechats, 12 Rock Pipits, a single Redpoll, 38 Siskins and 22 Cattle Egrets.

In the moth traps there were 5 Large Wainscots, 3 Beaded Chestnuts, a Green Brindled Crescent, and 3 Black Rustics. A few butterflies were still on the wing with 3 Peacocks, 2 Large Whites and 6 Red Admirals recorded.
