On the sea today 40 Common Scoter, 3 Velvet Scoters, 6 Red-breasted Mergansers, 7 Red-throated Divers, a Great Northern Diver, a single Manx Shearwater west, 82 Gannets, 9 Great Crested Grebes, 49 Pom Skuas, 2 Arctic Skuas, a Great Skua, 115 Kittiwakes, a Razorbill and a Guillemot were seen. A Grey Phalarope flew west past Holme Dunes NWT at 7.55am. At least 5 Cattle Egrets were still among the cattle on the fresh marsh and 4 Rock Pipits and 10 Siskins were also observed.

In the moth traps 6 Large Wainscots, a Feathered Ranunculus, a Beaded Chestnut and a Black Rustic were caught, with Peacock, Red Admiral and Small White still on the buddleias.
