A quieter day migration wise, with many of the weekends birds also having moved. The Cattle Egrets, 19 in total, remained on the Grazing Marsh with the cattle. A count of 21 Bearded Tits included several groups high west over the Observatory. Other birds of note included 2 Swallows, a single Grey Wagtail, a Kingfisher on the Broadwater, Sea watching produced counts of 220 Gannets, 100 Razorbill, 30 Eider, 3 Manx Shearwater, 2 Red-throated Diver, 6 Artic Skua, 2 Bonxie and a single Shag.
Of interest in the Moth traps were single Glancy’s Rustic and Red-green Carpet.
