Highlights on the sea today were 214 Common Scoter, 22 Red-throated Divers, 2 Manx Shearwaters, 75 Gannets, 22 Razorbills, 4 Arctic Skuas and 5 Sandwich Terns. The group of 15 Cattle Egrets were still on the fresh marsh during the day, and a Greenshank and 7 Snipe were also noted.

In the moth traps 7 Large Yellow Underwings, 15 Lunar Underwings, 6 Large Wainscots, a Delicate, 2 Square Spot Rustics, 2 Deep Brown Darts, a Feathered Ranunculus, a Beaded Chestnut and a Lesser Yellow Underwing were caught.
