Gannet

At least 111 Pink-feet and 2 Brents were seen, with 300 Common Scoter, 7 Red-throated Divers, 100 Gannets, a Great Crested Grebe, 3 Arctic Skuas, 19 Sandwich Terns and 4 Arctic Terns seen offshore. Waders included 5 Snipe, 23 Black-tailed Godwits, 29 Curlew and 400 Knot.

Moth traps were rather quiet with 2 Black Rustics, 8 Large Yellow Underwings, 2 Setaceous Hebrew Characters, 2 Beaded Chestnuts, a Square Spot Rustic, 29 Lunar Underwings, a Broad Bordered Yellow Underwing and a Humming-bird Hawk moth recorded.

Wall Brown, Migrant Hawker and Common Darter were still on the wing despite the high winds.
