A Short-eared Owl was visible on occasions both in the dunes and over the Grazing Marsh. Other birds recorded during the day included two Greenshank, plus single Spoonbill, Wheatear, Garden Warbler and Yellow Wagtail. The moth traps were surprisingly productive following the wet night with 19 species trapped, which included single Delicate, Dark Sword Grass and Scarce Bordered Straw.
