Another 80 Pink-feet flew east over the grazing marsh this morning, with 8 Wigeon, an Eider, 7 Common Scoter, 15 Gannets, a Great Crested Grebe, 836 Razorbills and 14 Guillemots were seen at sea, with 130 Black-tailed Godwits and 2,000 Knot counted on the shore. A movement of at least 350 Swallows and 50 House Martins was also observed, with a Yellow Wagtail, 2 Grey Wagtails and 2 Siskins also noted.

In the moth traps 5 Willow Beauties, a Gold Spot, 24 Vine’s Rustics, a Large Wainscot, 2 Broad Bordered Yellow Underwings, 37 Archer’s Darts, a Fern, 33 Square Spot Rustics, 84 Large Yellow Underwings, 11 Turnips, 15 White-lined Darts, 19 Setaceous Hebrew Characters, a Pinion-streaked Snout, 3 Lesser Yellow Underwings, a Small Dusty Wave, a Shuttle-shaped Dart, 2 Small Square Spots, a Pale Mottled Willow, 5 Smoky Wainscots, a Dingy Footman, Brimstone, 3 White Points, a Chinese Character, 2 Ruby Tigers, Burnished Brass Snout, Dark Sword-grass and Tawny Speckled Pug were caught.
