At sea today 4 Common Scoter, 3 Fulmars, an Arctic Skua east, 75 Sandwich Terns and 12 Common Terns were recorded, with waders on the marshes including 25 Golden Plover, 6 Whimbrel, 102 Curlew, 21 Black-tailed Godwits, 28 Bar-tailed Godwits (including a leuctistic individual), a Common Sandpiper and 2 Greenshank. Also of interest were 7 Med Gulls and a Turtle Dove near the Saltings,

In the moth traps today 5 Garden Tigers, a Fen Wainscot, Cloaked Minor, 5 Garden Grass Veneers, 2 Nutmegs, 7 Scarce Footmen, 2 Shuttle-shaped Darts, a Scalloped Oak, a Broad Bordered Yellow Underwing, 2 Lesser Broad Bordered Yellow Underwings, a Mouse Moth, a Common Rustic, 3 Ruby Tigers, 3 Turnips, 6 Rustics, a Dingy Footman, a White-line Dart, 2 Flame Shoulders, 3 Large Yellow Underwings, a Buff Ermine, a Silver Y, a Copper Underwing (pictured) and a Lesser Yellow Underwing.
