In the moth traps today, a Fen Wainscot, 3 Least Carpets, 4 Pine Marble, Privet Hawk, Red Twin-spot Carpet, Riband Wave, 10 Scarce Footmen, 3 Common Footmen, 9 Least Yellow Underwings, 2 Drinkers, Cloaked Minor, 7 Rustics, 9 Common Rustics, 4 Smoky Wainscots, 3 Ruby Tigers, 2 Small Waved Umbers, 16 Large Yellow Underwings, 6 Lesser Yellow Underwings, a Scalloped Oak, 3 Garden Tigers, 2 Southern Wainscots, a Dwarf Cream Wave, Oak Eggar, 3 Lesser Broad Bordered Yellow Underwings, 2 Dusky Sallows, a Gold Triangle, Yellow-tail, Pine Hawk, 4 Broad Bordered Yellow Underwings, a Pebble Prominent, 3 Mottled Rustics, 2 Dark Arches, Shuttle-shaped Dart, Rosy Minor, Dingy Footman, Knot Grass, 2 Straw Underwings, 3 Nutmegs, 2 Mouse Moths, a Dark Sword-grass, 3 Silver Ys, a Rosy Footman and 2 Humming-bird Hawks were feeding on the buddleia during the day.

Butterflies included Comma, Red Admiral, Meadow Brown, Gatekeeper, Essex Skipper and Wall Brown.
