On the Broadwater today there were at least four Spoonbills with a fly over Greenshank and Whimbrel also noteworthy and a vocal Great Spotted Woodpecker was in the pines along with two Siskins. The moth traps produced 63 species, which included Mouse Moth, Knotgrass, Nut-tree Tussock, Dusky Sallow, Pale Prominent, Fen Wainscot and a Coronet (pictured). A Hummingbird Hawkmoth was around the Buddleia outside the NWT visitor centre and three Scarce Emerald Damselflies were again on the Obs pond.
