Holme Bird Observatory
for as little as 14p per day.
10th June 2023
Finally a little warmer but strong east wind picked up as the day went on keeping it feeling fairly cool. The highlight of the day was two Cattle Egret spotted with the cows but they flew off east passing Titchwell and onwards.
We were expecting good numbers in the moth traps with warmer overnight temps but sadly only 35 moths of 20 species including Sand Dart, Lyme Grass Wainscot, Pale Prominent and Light Brocade.
