A gorgeous day with some warmth in the air, a Cuckoo was calling from the pines first thing then a pair was seen over head. A Turtle Dove was heard in the paddocks behind the golf course. Still not many butterflies maybe because of the wind. A good number of Lesser Whitethroats were found in the dunes at least 6 individuals and a Spoonbill was around the reserve again.

The moth traps were fairly quiet with 23 moths of 11 species plus a pair of day flying Yellow-barred Long Horns.
