Three Crossbills flew east over the pines mid morning, with a Grey Wagtail dropping in just in front of the Observatory and a Great Crested Grebe on the sea.

In the moth traps a Pine-cone Piercer, Shuttle-shaped Dart, Treble Lines, Muslin, 3 Heart & Dart, Vine’s Rustic, Small Square-spot and Sand Dart were recorded.

Broad-bodied and Four-spot Chaser were on the wing, with Brimstone, Green Hairstreak, Wall Brown, Common and Holly Blue all seen.
