Sunrise at the Obs
A drizzly quiet day at the Obs with not many birds around. There were large numbers of Pink Feet landing on the grazing marsh first thing, and a Barn Owl hunting. On the beach as the tide went out there were a few waders foraging, including 47 Oystercatchers, 2 Grey Plover, 38 Curlew, 4 Bar-tailed Godwit, 14 Redshank, 20 Sanderling and 12 Dunlin. Around the Obs the highlights were a Bullfinch, Great Spotted Woodpecker and 3 Stonechats.

Today is my last day working at Holme NOA, thank you to all the members who welcomed me and helped at the Obs. I am sure I will see some of you again around Norfolk and when I visit Holme.
