It was a very blustery easterly at the Obs today feeling quite chilly in the wind! Around the Obs 2 Goosander came off the Broadwater (a decent bird for here) and flew west and 2 Woodcock dropped into the pines. Otherwise around the Obs there was a few Redpoll , and a large tit flock (comprised of mostly Long-tailed Tit) but sadly nothing extra special was with them. A Short-eared Owl was seen on the marsh in the morning. We found a Yellow-browed Warbler in the dunes on the white post trail which is a nice late-ish record, it was being very vocal but quite elusive, and was more showy later in the day. A stunning male White Wagtail was running up and down the NWT Visitor Centre roof.  A really good count of 16 Snow Bunting were recorded at Thornham Channel mouth/eastern end of Holme Beach.

It was our Wednesday moth morning and there was more in the traps than expected with the highlight being a Gem and a lovely Satellite!
