Holme Bird Observatory
for as little as 14p per day.
15th January 2026

Before the rain hit at midday, I got out and made the most of the dry weather to do census. It was pretty quiet bird wise today with the highlight being a Woodcock in the dunes, and then a second from Richardson hide later on!

I had a single Shelduck over the grazing marsh in the morning. A Barn Owl was hunting over the grazing marsh late morning. Yesterday there were 40 Snow Bunting west at Gore Point.
