Another winters day at the Obs, there are still a few elusive Crossbills in the pines. Other highlights include a Merlin, Peregrine, 2 Bullfinch, 2 Barn Owls, 34 Shelduck, 148 Lawing, 4 Grey Plover, 10 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 20 Curlew, 67 Oystercatchers, 5 Turnstone, 26 Redshank and 1 Snipe. On the sea today there has been: 1 Black-throated Diver, 12 Red-throated Divers, 4 Great Northern Divers, 98 Common Scoter, 6 Red-breasted Mergansers, 7 Great Crested Grebes, 28 Cormorants, 1 Eider and 2 Fulmars. There were 7 Rock Pipits at Thornham Harbour today along with 2 Stock Doves.
