Norfolk Ornithologists Association - NOA

A quiet, rainy and windy day at the Obs. Unfortunately there has been no sign of the Hume’s Warbler today. A quick look at the beach revealed a few waders but nothing like the numbers of yesterday: 145 Oystercatchers, 6 Grey Plover, 15 Curlew, 3 Ringed Plover, 8 Redshank, 45 Sanderling and 25 Dunlin. The Obs has been very quiet with just a few finches, Goldcrests, Blue tits and Great Tits around.

We had no moths in the moth trap today, and we have decided to bring in the traps for the year, after a week of no moths.
