Norfolk Ornithologists Association - NOA

A quiet day at the Obs, with a strong north westerly wind and intermittent rain. Unfortunately there has been no sign of the Hume’s Leaf Warbler today. The highlight of the day was a juvenile Kittiwake on the beach this morning, and lots of hungry waders feeding on the intertidal area. Noteworthy birds around the Obs include: 1 Blackcap, 14 Greenfinch, 11 Goldfinch, 8 Chaffinch, 2 Stonechats, 20 Blackbirds, 4 Little Egrets, 1 Great White Egret and a Barn Owl hunting over the grazing marsh.
