Another really windy day at the Obs. A Ring Ouzel was reported in the afternoon from the coastal public footpath. Blackbird, Song Thrush, Fieldfare and Redwing continue to be seen in small numbers mainly around the dunes/paddocks. Two Mistle Thrush flew over East Bank in the late afternoon. A few Crossbill were still around today. A Peregrine was on the beach towards Gore Point. A Barn Owl was hunting over the grazing marsh as the sun started to set this afternoon.

We had another headstarted Curlew on the beach today, 8N again. She was released in 2022 from Sandringham and has been seen quite a few times now at Holme. You can read more about the project and report any sightings you see of headstarted birds here:- https://www.curlewrecoveryproject.co.uk/
