Wheatear

A wet and windy day at the Observatory with a blustery southerly! There was a soggy Wheatear on the beach in the morning, which was probably the most sheltered spot of all. There was a Greenshank and Green Sandpiper from NWT Hide 3. A single Swallow went over the car park. There was also two Blackcap.

Reasonably quiet in the moth traps today with 21 Lunar Underwing, 8 Large Yellow Underwing, 1 Large Wainscot, 2 Broad-bordered Yellow Underwing, 2 Black Rustic, 3 White Point, 1 Brick, 1 Lesser Yellow Underwing and 1 Square-spot Rustic.
