A rainbow on the way back from Thornham
A rainy day at the Obs today, in between the rain showers I walked to Thornham and then Gore Point later on, the highlights were: 2 Barn Owls hunting over the Grazing Marsh, 180 Brent Geese, 12 Shelduck, 85 Wigeon, 2 Gadwall, 125 Teal, 3 Red-breasted Mergansers, 1 Goosander, 2 Red-throated Divers, 13 Little Grebes, 1 Great-crested Grebe, 80 Oystercatchers, 76 Curlew, 4 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Bar-tailed Godwit, 45 Redshank, 12 Knot, 25 Sanderling, 6 Dunlin, 60 Starling, 5 Stonechat, 26 Linnets, 18 Goldfinch, 14 Reed Bunting, 3 Meadow Pipit and 4 Rock Pipit.
