The Hume’s Warbler was refound this morning and has been giving everyone the run around since!

A look at the sea and the beach revealed: 21 Little Gulls, 1 Peregrine, 4 Avocets, 170 Brent Geese, 9 Eider, 2 Long-tailed Ducks, 26 Common Scoter, 5 Red-breasted Mergansers, 3 Red-throated Divers, 8 Great Crested Grebes, 5 Fulmar, 330 Dunlin, 6 Curlew, 40 Sanderling, 4 Grey Plover, 200 Knot, 157 Oystercatchers, 28 Redshank, 5 Ringed Plover and 4 Bar-tailed Godwit. 

I briefly opened the nets this morning and caught 27 birds, the highlight of which was a Woodcock (see image above)! Other birds caught include: 2 Goldfinch, 3 Blue Tit, 1 Chaffinch, 5 Greenfinch, 1 Dunnock and 2 Blackbirds. Retraps: 3 Coal Tit, 1 Robin and 8 Blue Tits.
