A mild but breezy day, a flock of 14 Spoonbills flew inland from Thornham Harbour, and a juvenile Spotted Redshank was near the Broadwater. Also of interest were 2 Great White Egrets, a Willow Warbler and 250 Knot on the beach.

In the moth traps there were 3 Rush Veneers, a Deep-brown Dart, 1 Knot Grass, 4 Turnip, 57 Large Yellow Underwings, 27 Square-spot Rustics, 1 Clancy’s Rustic, 4 Setaceous Hebrew Characters, 1 Archer’s Dart, 2 Gold Spots, 6 Lunar Underwings, 1 Dark Sword-grass, 1 Yellow-tail, 1 Common Wainscot, 1 Shuttle-shaped Dart, 1 Ruby Tiger, 1 Delicate, 1 Red-green Carpet, 2 Engrailed and a Small Square-spot, together with a Great Silver Diving Beetle.
