Norfolk Ornithologists Association - NOA

On the pools in front of the car park hide this morning there was 1 Whimbrel, 59 Redshank, 16 Avocet and 1 Curlew. A group of 10 Black-tailed Godwit flew over the grazing marsh in the afternoon.

During a morning seawatch there was 42 Common Scoter, 17 Little Tern, 5 Common Tern and an Arctic Skua!

In the moth traps we had 25 species with 2 Garden Tiger, 5 Dusky Sallow, 6 Scarce Footman, 6 Drinker, 14 Uncertain/Rustic agg., 1 Marbled Minor agg., 2 Oak Eggar, 1 Tufted Scallop, 1 Rosy Footman, 1 Pine Marble, 2 Diamondback, 1 Brown-line Bright-eye, 1 Reed Dagger, 2 Ruby Tiger, 1 Marbled Clover, 2 Large Yellow Underwing, 1 Large Pale Masoner, 1 Small Umber, 2 Dingy Footman, 2 Common Footman, 1 Brown Tail, 1 Ermine agg., 1 Pearl Grass-moth, 1 Breckland Plume and 1 Cnephasia agg.
