Garden Tiger

On the Broad Water today there were 69 Redshank, 5 Common Sandpiper, 14 Lapwing, 30+ Avocet, 42 Shelduck with 38 duckling and 3 Little Grebe.

We had some nice species in the moth trap today with 2 Oak Eggar, 2 Buff Footman, 24 Uncertain/Rustic agg., 2 Dusky Sallow, 10 Ruby Tiger, 3 Drinker, 9 Dingy Footman, 2 Ermine agg., 1 Purple Bar, 1 Brown Moss-moth, 1 Common Wainscot, 1 Brown-line Bright-eye, 1 Clay, 4 Scarce Footman, 1 Small Waved Umber, 2 Ear sp., 1 Lesser Yellow Underwing, 2 Garden Grass Moth, 1 Lesser Broad Bordered Yellow Underwing, 1 Marbled Minor agg., 2 Large Yellow Underwing,  1 Lyme Grass, 1 Orange Pine Tortrix, 2 Flame Shoulder, 1 Smoky Wainscot, 1 Dark Arches, 2 Garden Tiger, 1 Fen Wainscot, 2 Reed Dagger, 1 Nut Tree Tussock, 1 Brown Tail, 1 Hook-tipped Grass-moth and 1 Reed Veneer.
