Shoveler – Seamus Griffin

The Black Redstart was still around the NWT Visitor Centre this morning though was much more elusive and seemed to have disappeared by the afternoon. Two male Blue-headed Wagtail were reported on the grazing marsh off the NWT entrance gate in the afternoon, though were then elusive.

Quiet in the moth traps today with 10 Hebrew Character, 2 Small Quaker and 1 Red Chestnut (below) which was new here for the year. One Peacock butterfly was also seen. A Stoat was running along the dunes this morning before diving into the bushes.
