Eleven Spoonbills, a Great White Egret and a Common Sandpiper were the highlights on the Broadwater, while a juvenile Cuckoo was in the dunes.
In the moth traps 7 Yellow Tails, 28 Garden Tigers, 2 Common Carpets, 2 Oak Hook-tips ,a Poplar Hawk, 5 Dingy Footmen, 19 Ruby Tigers, 15 Rustics, 17 Scarce Footmen, a Privet Hawk, a Shaded Broad-bar, 6 Cloaked Minors, a Gold Spot, a Small Waved Umber, 8 Flame Shoulders, a Sharp-angled Peacock, 6 Smoky Wainscots, a Tree-lichen Beauty, 2 Least Carpets, 3 Drinkers, a Rosy Minor, a Pebble Hook-tip, Single Dotted Wave, Small Fan-footed Wave, Rosy Rustic, Latticed Heath, Eyed Hawk, Pebble Prominent, Sallow Kitten, Brown Tail, Straw Dot, 2 Dark Arches, 3 Dusky Sallows, a Nut-tree Tussock, a Twin-spotted Wainscot, a Brown-line Bright-eye, a Southern Wainscot, a Common Rustic, a Large Yellow Underwing and a Humming-bird Hawk Moth.
Banded Demoiselle, Migrant Hawker, Black-tailed Skimmer, Common and Ruddy Darter were noted, and butterflies included Brown Argus, Small Copper, Wall and Gatekeeper.
