Volunteers for the Observatory

The NOA is aware that visitors to the Obs will sometimes find our wardens busy with ringing and administration, which is crucial to our work, but means our staff cannot always spend the time they would like in engaging with visitors.

To improve our service to visitors we are looking to recruit a group of volunteers able to help out fairly regularly at Holme Bird Observatory with the general day to day running of the reserve.

Volunteers are wanted to help man the NOA centre, help to record birds and insects, and provide general support to the warden on duty.

If you live locally and would be prepared to spend half or whole days at the Observatory, please contact us at info@noa.org.uk or call us on 01485 525406.

Your help would be truly appreciated. Thank you.
